- He votes 100% of the time with Joe Biden. He even voted for the two largest inflationary spending packages in history – putting money in the hands of corporations while decreasing the value of our dollar.
- He is an open socialist who was the first Congressman to endorse Bernie Sanders.
- He is on the Natural Resources committee and has routinely voted against American interests in gas and oil – raising energy prices and increasing our dependence on foreign nations like Russia.

When Grijalva took office in 2003, our national debt was only $6 trillion. Our families and small businesses have been completely left behind by our representative.

Grijalva, who is a career politician that has never owned or managed a business and does not understand economics. While in office, he has spearheaded and voted for countless inflationary bills that have lowered the value of our dollar. When Grijalva took office in 2003, $100 was worth $160. In the past two years, Grijalva voted for the two most inflationary bills in US history – bringing inflation to the highest levels in 50 years.

Grijalva had to spend $48,000 on a settlement for an employee who he had allegedly mistreated while in office. Even AZ Central, a Democrat-leaning publication, explicitly called out Grijalva’s wrongdoing.

Disliked by everybody from his fellow Democrat lawmakers and staff to his own family, Raúl Grijalva is a well-known drunk who has been accused of creating a hostile workplace multiple times. With a decade of accusations, angry staff and peers in Washington, and an inability to speak coherently at any live event – Grijalva has demonstrated that he has alcohol abuse issues. We ought to encourage Grijalva to get help, not to represent 800,000 people of Arizona during an economic and social crisis.
20 Years in Washington... For What?
Grijalva is a career politician. He first was elected to his current position in 2002, and he has overseen nothing but a decrease in the quality of life for Arizonans in the 7th District. Our schools have fallen behind, our infrastructure has fallen behind, our businesses have fallen behind, and our families have fallen behind. When omnibus packages come up, Grijalva is more likely to vote for money to go to other states like California than he is to vote for money to be sent to Southern Arizona.
When Grijalva took office, the United States had $6 Trillion in debt. Today, after multiple spending bills spearheaded and voted for by Grijalva, we have nearly $31 Trillion.
Despite making nearly $200,000 a year, Grijalva has mismanaged his money to the point where he was estimated to have a NEGATIVE net worth of under $-470,000. How has Grijalva mismanaged his money so badly? Is it related to how he has mismanaged funding for Southern Arizona and all of America?
There Is Another Option
Thankfully, there is a chance we can end the policies and repeated mistakes of Grijalva. On November 8th, 2022, Grijalva will face off against Luis Pozzolo in the general election.
Luis Pozzolo is an naturalized citizen from Latin America who legally immigrated to America with his wife around the same time Grijalva first got elected two decades ago. He began his American Dream as a dishwasher before earning his citizenship in 2012. In 2017, after having managed a $2 billion meat distributor, Luis and his wife opened up their own small business in Arizona – The Box Meat Shop. Luis is running on a platform of common sense, sober leadership and ending Grijalva’s reign of misfortune.
